It is not easy to find in Taiwan, as obtaining it requires sacrificing the future yield of the fruit. There are male and female flowers, with the female flowers bearing the short gourd seedlings. These can be eaten raw or stuffed with filling, coated in flour, and deep-fried.
台湾では手に入りにくいですが、将来の実の収穫量を犠牲にする必要があります。雄花と雌花があり、短い瓜の苗は雌花から生まれます。これらは生で食べることができ、具を詰めて粉をまぶして揚げることもできます。
